Job Description:
- Educate employees / trainees on company information, policies and procedures
- Implement employees / trainees discipline ensuring that legal risk are minimized and decisions are in accordance with existing policies
- Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with labor laws
- Conduct counseling to employees with work-related issues
- Facilitate process and policy calibration sessions with the management team of the different departments
- Conduct investigations and deliberation on employee infractions and sanctions
- Oversee the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law
- Advise management on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
- Study legislation, arbitration decisions, to assess industry trends
- Analyze attrition data and work on initiatives to increase employee retention
Requirements:
- Has background in Industrial Relations and/pr Employee Discipline
- Has background in conducting orientations/calibration sessions to a large group of employees
- Has worked in a similar position for at least 2 years
- Excellent conceptual and presentation skills
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills required
- Proficient in creating reports and MS Office
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules (including night shift, weekends and holidays)
